Frivolous lawsuits are filed everyday. Some people think that they may be able to make some quick cash by suing an individual or a company in court. Recently a lawsuit was filed against Hawkeye borescopes. The plaintiff claimed that he used a borescope, manufactured by the company, to look into the toilet. He was hoping to find his wife’s wedding and engagement rings. Their young son had dropped them into the toilet. He stated that in the process of using the borescope, he flushed the toilet. His wife’s rings were gone for good. He claimed that the design of the borescope was the cause of the incident, as the position that he had to be in caused him to flush. He was suing for the retail price of the rings, and for pain and suffering, as his wife was very upset and angry with him because he flushed the rings rather than retrieved them. The case was dismissed.

If you are an attorney, you know that you can acquire quite a collection of legal documents in a short period of time. Often, it is necessary to store these documents in a warehouse rather than in the office. The office just does not provide enough space for storage, but the legal documents must be kept for several years before they are able to be disposed of. Most of the time, you will not use these documents once they are placed in stiorage, but they still have to kept. The law requires attorneys to do so, and you never know when a client might request copies of the documents. Once placed in storage, the documents may need to be moved around, according to the system of your choice. Many attorneys stack the boxes of documents according to dates, so it is easier to identify the ones that can be disposed of when the time comes. Some alphabetize the boxes, making them easier to locate if a client needs to view documents or make copies of them. These boxes are heavy, and moving them can be a hassle, especially when they are stacked very high. Forklifts are helpful in moving these boxes. The equipment can move many boxes at a time and save hours of manual labor.
